Good credit repair help

I used their credit repair services. They removed a collection from my report. It took about 2 months. My score went up. I'm happy with the outcome.

Decent service, minor issues

I used Credit Advisor for collection removal. They did get a couple of old items off my report, which was good to see. The customer service was responsive when I called them. However, it took 5 days to reach Denver after I signed up to get my first update. The personalized action plan was useful, but I had to follow up twice to get clarity on one of the steps. Overall, a positive experience and my score did improve, but there's room for a bit more proactivity on their part with updates.

Detailed report audit service

I got the credit report audit and found it very thorough. Ordering was straightforward online, and I had a call with a consultant within a couple of days. They explained everything clearly and pointed out some things I completely missed. The dispute letters they drafted for me were professional and they even sent them out. Delivery of the initial report summary was fast via email. My only minor gripe was that it took a bit longer than expected to hear back about one of the dispute results, but overall, the quality of the service and advice was excellent. They covered all three bureaus and gave me a personalized action plan.

First time buyer, good value

I signed up for their credit repair service as a new client. I got a discount for the first month which really helped. I was looking for something affordable to start getting my credit in order, and this felt like a solid option. The initial audit was free too, which sealed the deal for me. So far, it seems worth what I paid.

Reliable over time

I've been using Credit Advisor for about a year now, mainly for credit monitoring and some ongoing dispute support. This last time I needed help with a late payment removal, and they handled it efficiently, just like they have with previous issues. Their process is consistent, and I keep coming back because they deliver. I appreciate the reliability; it saves me a lot of hassle compared to trying to do everything myself. My credit score has steadily improved since I started with them, which is why I stick around.

Helped with my student loans

So I tried their student loan credit assistance thing. My score was kinda stuck, you know? They looked at my stuff and gave me some tips, even sent out some letters for me. It wasn't super quick, but I did see a little jump in my score. Pretty chill experience, no stress.

I'm deployed right now, does Credit Advisor offer military discounts? Trying to clean up my credit while I'm away.

T Tom 2 months ago
Yep, they definitely have military and veteran discounts. I mentioned it during my initial call and they applied it to my first month.

I think they do, I remember seeing something about it. Worth asking during the free consult for sure.

Is Credit Advisor better than just trying to dispute stuff myself? Seems like a lot of work but also worried about paying someone for something I could do.

T Todd Romero 2 months ago
Honestly, they know the ins and outs way better than I ever would. I tried doing it myself for a bit and just got frustrated. They have all the right templates and processes.

I think it saves a ton of time. They know what to say and how to say it to the bureaus. Worth it if you value your time and want it done right, otherwise, yeah, you technically CAN do it yourself.

Hey, thinking about using Credit Advisor. Are they for real? Like, not some scammy thing where I pay for nothing?

L Lisa 2 months ago
Nah, they're legit. I've been with them for a few months and actually saw my score go up. They send out dispute letters and everything.

I had the same worry but my buddy used them for a while and got some old collections removed. So yeah, seems pretty real to me.

How long does it usually take to see results with Credit Advisor? My credit is pretty trashed, so not expecting miracles overnight but a general timeframe would be good.

A Anna Romero 2 months ago
It really depends on your specific issues. For me, I started seeing some changes after about 2-3 months, but significant stuff took longer, maybe 6 months.

I mean, it's not super fast. Credit repair usually takes a few months to a year, I wouldn't expect anything before 3 months, maybe 6 to really see a difference.

Does Credit Advisor offer any kind of free consultation or anything? Just want to see if they can even help my situation before I commit.

J Julia Z. 3 months ago
Yeah, they do free consultations. I did one, it was pretty helpful just to get an idea of what they can do.

They offer a free consultation. I think you just sign up on their site for it, pretty straightforward.
